Zentangle® 12-piece Tool Set

The majority of colourists will have at some point heard of Zentangle®, a doodling technique of creating intricate and three-dimensional patterns mostly using monochrome. Some of the designs may look a bit perplexing at first, which is why Zentangle® have created these starter kits with tips and tools to get you started.

YouTube has endless step-by-step tutorials on how to create hundreds of Zentangle® patterns, and there are even Certified Zentangle® Teachers in lots of countries, so with this kit & a little help from the internet or your local guide, you'll be well on your way to learning the skill of drawing detailed patterns.

If you're still not sure about Zentangle®, these pens with their varying nib sizes from minute to super-thick are great for just practicing doodles! You can use these techniques to fill in blank spaces in colouring pages and give it some personalised pizzazz! Check out these 30 patterns I drew using these pens with help from this video.

Here are my first attempts at Zentangle® using the tools in this kit. I think I have a way to go with the celtic knot but I'll get there!
