Review Policy
This policy is valid from the 17th of April 2015.
This blog is written and edited by Claire Eadie. For questions about this blog, please use the contact form found here.
The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own, as the blog owner.

What I do: I give honest book & product reviews based on my own subjective opinion. I am very careful in selecting books myself or accepting titles that a publicist suggests based on what would be of interest to me and my viewers. Thus, I can hopefully provide a favourable review.

However, despite careful selection, expectations may not be met — I might not end up being crazy about the art inside a colouring book, or the art supplies I'm reviewing may be disappointing. Please be aware that if the book has substandard production quality or the art supplies do not perform well, I will make this known in my review.

Reviews will be in video format on my YouTube channel. They are then shared on multiple places online including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. I’m @colourwithclaire on Social Media.

****************

Review Times: Please note that review times may vary, depending on many factors including other reviews I have to do, my personal colouring schedule, and of course life events! This is a hobby, not a job. I am promoting your book/product to a large and long-standing adult colouring audience which I have built up in my (very limited) spare time, so naturally I always have lots of requests in my inbox. Unfortunately I cannot define the time it will take for me to film a review.

****************

What Kinds of Colouring Books I Like: I love art that is cute and whimsical — and also art that is a bit weird and quirky. I love horror and Gothic themes. I also like lightly shaded portraiture. I do not like mandalas, abstract or geometric patterns.
I do not accept PDF colouring books for review, please send hard copies only.

****************

Unsolicited Books: An unsolicited book is a book that I receive that I did not specifically request or agree to accept from a publicist. If a publicist wants to send me a random book or include an extra book in a pre-planned shipment, it is best to disclose the title so I can determine if the book is a good match with my interests. I cannot guarantee that I will review an unsolicited book.

****************

Review Format:  YouTube video reviews will include a flip through of the book and my subjective opinion. I always try to colour a page from the book for my review, so people can see what it looks like with some colour, but this is not guaranteed. Purchase links will be given in the description.

****************

Giveaways: I am happy to host a giveaway for your colouring book or art supplies. I will handle all the online logistics of the giveaway in exchange for the publisher/company shipping the book directly to the winner. If you prefer to have me ship the item, please disclose this in advance as I cannot always afford to do this.
