As I explained in My Story, colouring has been of huge benefit to my mental health and remains a tool I regularly use to combat feelings of panic and anxiety. People often contact me to say how much my videos have helped them- both in improving their colouring skills and keeping them distracted from their own psychological issues- but the truth is this blog has helped me just as much as it has helped others. Making the reviews and tutorials has given me a focus, a sense of achievement, a whole extended family of people who I know I can turn to if needed. My favourite thing about this hobby is the sense of community it garners; the fact that something as simple and undemanding as colouring has brought people together to share tips and support each other.
I know there will be people out there who are in need of this kind of community and mental health support in general, so here is some useful info...
