Twelve Tales is a booklet of portraits from a dozen of the most-loved folk stories and fables, rendered in ink for you to bring to life with colour. The reverse side of each page is a detailed excerpt from each story to accompany the illustration, the tales being:
Each princess or leading lady has been hand-drawn and features iconic images and objects from its respective story. The style is very 'olden times' and traditional, so if you're into the Medieval aesthetic and historical art you will love this depiction of these time-honoured classics. The paper is very thin and not suitable for markers unless you put a couple of scrap sheets of paper between images first. Orders are made up and fulfilled by Bobbie herself, and ship from the US so postage costs will have to be considered if you're buying from elsewhere. Here's my finished page! This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review. You can find it on Bobbie's Etsy page.
