Thanks from a newbie, too many tutorials are based on a specific book. Although my collection is growing steadily (much to my hubby's dismay) not all beginners can afford all of the currently popular and/or newly released books. Just getting good quality pencils is quite an investment. And pencil conversion charts are appreciated, although I'd love to see some of the budget brands included, or at least a generic description of a color - like Black Grape as a dark purple.

Love your reviews - it is so hard to pay so much for a book and then find out it isn't that great. Reviews like yours have helped me avoid so much disappointment plus introduced me to some lovely books I didn't know about :)
