These three books from Search Press LTD are part of a series (see my review of The Art Nouveau Colouring Book here) of 7 adult colouring books with varying themes, all identically formatted with 16 pre-coloured pages in the front to give the colourist inspiration. The paper quality is thick with a smooth finish, ideal for most mediums, and the illustrations are all one sided. The majority of the designs are printed smaller than A4 with several on one page, but there are some full page illustrations dotted through.

Angel & Fairy

This book features beautiful illustrations of mythical fairies and celestial angels, from cute little cherubs to grand nymps and unicorns. There are also scrolls, clouds, enchanted plantlife and animals.

Chinese

If you're a fan of Chinese culture and imagery, this is the book for you! Filled with heavily decorated fans, plaques, kimonos and Geisha girls, it celebrates the focus on animals and wildlife within the Oriental styled illustrations.

Celtic

This book is packed with traditional and complex illustrations, all centred around intricate knotwork and spirals. The curved lines and interlacing patterns would have originally been found on stone carvings and jewellery.
The thing I like most about these books is the mini images that make up a collection on the page, as sometimes you might only have the time or inclination to colour something small and simple. Here are my finished pages from each book, completed with Staedtler Triplus felt pens.

These look really fab. I love that it all looks like parts you can do and then come back to at a later date, and feel comfortable to leave it, as it's easy to come back to and pick up from where you left off. Yet still creates something beautiful.

That's exactly right Laura, one of the reasons I love Search Press books. There's always smaller pieces you can work on quickly :)
