Sugar Skull Girls is one of three colouring books Carissa has designed, all featuring her sultry, gothic portraits of women. Ms Rose draws and paints all of her illustrations by hand in glorious technicolour, and has stripped them back down to linework for others to mark their stamp on in this book. You can find individual pages and prints on her Etsy page, as well as jewellery, bags and all sorts of other good stuff. Although there are only 16 images in the book, they pack a punch. Each illustration covers a full A4 page and would look awesome as part of a display if you coloured and framed a few of them. Bold, vivid colours are a must in my opinion, to really bring the best out of these kickass ladies! The drawings are all one sided so let yourself loose with paint or whatever you want, sky's the limit :) Here's my finished pic, completed with Promarkers. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. You can purchase it here.
