Despite being a colouring book and art material reviewer for the best part of a year now, I am slightly ashamed to admit that I hadn't heard of pencil extenders before, but it seems like such an obvious product when you see how handy they are! I have 3 to show you today, so you can make your mind up about which one suits you best.
I hope you've enjoyed this look into some pencil holders that are currently available to purchase at Cult Pens, but there are loads more to choose from on the site with varying mechanisms, lengths and widths, so select one that is best for you and get those old pencil stubs out of storage!

The Caran d'Ache extender is only meant for their pencils which is why you had a bit of difficulty! My Pablo's fit perfect in it :) just so that people know if they don't have any of their pencils not to get that one as it is good quality just not suitable for other brands :)

Now it all makes sense! I wasn't aware of that obviously- I need me some Caran pencils so I can test it out :)

Sonic Gripen pencil holders from Jet Pens fit larger pencils like Caran d'Ache Luminance. These are too large for most extenders. The Sonic Gripen holders take any pencil 8mm in diameter, even hexagonal ones like Primo Elite Grande 5000.
