This was interesting to see how Prismacolor has changed.I looked up the history of the pencil and found some interesting facts.In 1856 Daniel Beroklzheimer founded the Eagle Pencil company in NYC.In 1938 they developed Prismacolor pencil.Company had many branches in other countries.In England the pencils were called Karismacolor.The difference in them was they had the oak colored barrels instead of the colored barrels.In 1969 the company changed its name to Berol.In 1995 Newell Brands acquired Berol which was put in Sanford division.The Newell Brands have acquired several other companies which include Rubbermaid,Yankee Candle,Elmers glue,Mr Coffee,Sharpie and several others.
