The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed I now have a SHOP tab on my page...
I'm so excited to reveal my brand new Etsy store, LeafyAlpha! I recently learned this flowery lettering technique from a Johanna Basford tutorial circulating at the moment, and after practicing a bit I realised my letters looked quite good! I posted my name in one particular colouring group and got over 900 likes - I couldn't believe it! So many people asked me whether I'd do their names, and it got me thinking... hand drawn names, no digital drawing... it's another creative string I can add to my bow whilst enabling others (who may not feel able to do it themselves) to see their name in flowers! Whatsmore, I could release them as PDF files so that folks can print off as many as they like to practise different colour palettes and display wherever they want. I contacted Johanna just to make sure this wasn't infringing on anything legal, and got the go ahead, so...
I created LeafyAlpha! I've kept the price low (£2/$2.90 per letter) making them available to everyone, and because they're downloadable files there's no postage, so they're accessible worldwide!
I've made it very clear on the store that I am *not* an artist; my hand illustrated lines are wobbly and nothing is perfect, but I think they're super pretty :) Everyone who purchases will receive a watermarked JPG picture of their name before I send the downloadable file, to make sure you're happy with it before the order is complete. Here are some examples I've put together!
I hope you all love them and will support Colour with Claire's new venture! This is a side project so I'll still be doing reviews & everything I always do :)
You can purchase your name on my Etsy store HERE!
