The Future Teacher Foundation produce primary age resources for schools and parents, enabling them to teach in more effective and fun ways that make children excited about learning and mindful in life. They have created several colouring books for children, and have now used their knowledge of mindfulness to design one for the adults too.
The book contains geometric shapes, optical illusions, fractal patterns, mandalas and sacred geometry, designed to act on our subconcious and provide a deep relaxation. There is diverse mixture of linework and shapes, making this a book you really can zone out to.
The book also includes some tips for mindfulness in everyday life, which aims to evoke positivity and contemplation in its reader. The paper quality is printer paper thin but is one-sided, so as long as you put something behind the sheet you'll be able to use markers. The minimalistic format of the book gives it a clean, back-to-basics feel that could be just what you need if you're looking for a book to chill out with and not have to conciously think.
