Robin Cass is a tattooist from Chicago who has spend most of her life creating beautiful artwork. This is her first adult colouring book, funded by Kickstarter, and contains some of her most stunning floral inspired designs, including dreamcatchers, mermaids, animals, insects and lots of enchanting women. If you like the books by Ondine Summers or tattoo art in general, this is definitely a book you have to have in your collection!

The artwork has mixed complexities from larger spaces to more detailed work, so will appeal to a wide range of colourists. On the reverse of each page is an area for you to add your name next to Robin's when you've completed the design.

Here's a slideshow of images from the book. You can also watch a flip through of the entire thing on YouTube here.
The book has been produced with hardcore colourists in mind, incorporating several checklist features we all look for in an ideal colouring book: lay flat binding, one sided pages and thick cardlike paper. You can use any medium you like on this paper, from alcohol markers to watercolour paint!

The cover is matte black card with beautiful gold foiling on the title and illustration, the bronze coil binding complementing it and creating a classy, elegant look. The book exudes luxury, and feels quite substantial too. You're certainly getting your money's worth, which is why the price is higher than most colouring books. All these designs are unique and drawn by hand, and I think we sometimes forget the amount of work that goes into creating a portfolio of colouring pages like this. I think a tattoo fan would agree there's definitely £20 worth of quality and colouring hours here. Plus, all orders get a free full-colour sticker of one of Robin's designs!

If you love the designs but can't quite afford the book, you can grab a digital download copy for half price to print out and colour here.

Here's my finished page, coloured with Tombow Dual Brush pens.
