She's also a landscape architecht (cool job!) and merges this with her art to create some lovely nature-based illustrations. With all this and two young daughters to raise, Cynthia has still managed to develop three colouring books under her 'Passionate Colorist' brand, and has lots more in the pipeline! Phew! Floral Delight is a spiral-bound book that opens landscape to reveal 20 floral line drawings, each encased in a decorative border with their species name written underneath. From common plants such as pansies and sunflowers to the lesser heard of bachelor buttons and creeping phlox, you'll find some beautiful florals to fill with colour. The paper used is extremely thick card, giving you a huge choice of mediums to use from alcohol markers to watercolour paints, with little to no bleedthrough. The pages are a large postcard size so you could colour and send to loved ones, or frame one for your desk as they're not too big. The reverse are all blank for you to write a note or test your colour palette out, and each page is perforated for easy removal. Here's my finished page, coloured with Zig Brushables. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. You can find it over on Cynthia's Etsy page.
