There are so many Christmas colouring books coming out at the moment that it can be hard to know which one to choose. I was looking for something quirky and away from the traditional when I found Creative Christmas Tree, a different take on festive trees with both classic and contemporary renderings. Each page has a seasonal quote on the reverse rather than being double sided, so you don't have to worry about using pens that bleed (the paper is pretty thin so you'll need a few sheets of scrap behind). The pages all have a dotted line close to the spine as a guide for you to cut out and remove easily.
The trees vary from baubles hanging from a reindeer's antlers, to holly and ivy crawling up a trellis, to being made completely out of books (now that's a tree I'd love in my home!). Some of the colouring spaces can be quite tricky but I wouldn't say there's anything too intricate in the book. It's another one that is good for adults and children alike, but I love it because it's unusual and a fresh take on typical Christmas trees.
Check out my Pac-Man inspired tree! Imagine a tree with lights you could actually play with, someone needs to invent that!
