There are loads of comic themed colouring books out there, but none I've found that you can write the story yourself- until now!
Julien Missial has created a comic book that you can customise with your own Superhero tale, each page containing speech and thought bubbles for you to fill in as you like. The characters' costumes have been drawn sparsely with plenty of potential for adding your own detail to their threads.
The pages are divided into scene blocks, split-screen or full page spreads. There's action scenes, fights, baddies, crime and hot characters- everything you'd expect to see in a comic book!
The book is published through CreateSpace so the paper is thin and average quality, however the illustrations are all one-sided with a solid black reverse so you shouldn't see anything on the back. You should definitely put some sheets of paper behind each one so nothing bleeds though.
The cover is thick card with a matte, soft-touch feel. There are 30 different comic book panels for you to colour, personalise and narrate, so the possibilities are endless. I'd recommend this to comic book lovers who can't draw but have always wanted to create their own comic story.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. You can find it on Amazon here:
