Karlon is back again with another fabulous book, this time full of ghouls, zombies, evil clowns, witches, and even an undead chihuahua! This collection of 12 hand drawn illustrations are perfect just in time for Hallowe'en, my favourite holiday. Karlon's signature style (seen first in his debut book) brings humour and quirkiness to the spooky season, with original characters and some serious creepiness! So light a candle and step through the creaky old door to meet The Undead Newlyweds, Jack-EEE-Boy, The Damned Queen and their friends...
I think Karlon's struck a great balance between frightening and funny, I only wish there were more illustrations to colour! For the £6 price tag I would've liked a thicker book, but then again it's a novelty one and still has plenty of hours' colouring time involved.
Karlon has also set up a Facebook group for general colouring enthusiasts, so be sure to join up and share your finished pictures with the artist himself! Here's my completed page, which took me about 2 hours to colour. I used Promarkers and Copics :)
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. You can find it on Amazon, here:
