Her unique mixture of abstract and naturalistic imagery is all hand-drawn and has a strange, complex feel about it despite using simple shapes. From florals and mushrooms to swirls and boxes, this is one of those colouring books that is designed to be completed by totally immersing yourself in relaxation, rather than trying to work out what colours go where. It's about filling the spaces to calm your mind and de-stress. The book itself has a simple card cover with a monochome design that can be coloured. Each design is printed on one side, so you can bring the patterns to life with bold colour, or practice your pencil shading on the intersecting curves and lines. Here's my finished cover, coloured with Staedtler Triplus felt pens. So, if you like visionary artwork that combines the abstract with realism, order your copy of Color a Creation from Rose's Etsy Page.
