Are you a bit naughty? Bit cheeky? Love a giggle and a wink? Cos if you're easily offended these books are definitely not for you, they epitomise adult colouring in the very literal sense! Chubby Art Cartoons is the creation of Alison Galvan, a bachelor or Fine Arts from Canada who spends her days writing, sculpting, illiustrating or painting- whatever takes her fancy from day to day. Her quirky cartoons are designed with a sense of humour and light-hearted cheekiness, and do have sexual themes and very light nudity (the most you'll see is a bum)!

The first book, Colouring Book for Grown-ups, focuses on situations in daily life and is very tongue-in-cheek, displaying a satire of life that is refreshingly realistic and funny. My favourite examples include the promise of chocolate as the only motivation for running into the finish line at a race, a pigeon releasing last night's dinner straight after you've washed the windows, and the stereotypical middle-aged man driving around in his convertible, young chick by his side, MIDLIFE CRISIS written on his numberplate!
The second book is somewhat ruder, featuring 50 Karma Sutra sex positions! Again, there's nothing pornographic about the illustrations and all the characters are fully clothed, in fact some of the positins look very awkward and unenjoyable which makes me giggle even more! We've all been there right girls? Anyway, apart from the curve of a boob and a little bum cheek, there's nothing too offensive in the book and I think it would be a hilarious present for someone in your life who's looking for some new colouring material!
The books have fairly thin paper but the reverse of each page is just a caption for each illustration, so you can use any colouring pens you like to bring these fab characters to life! I hope you've enjoyed looking through them today and as Alison herself says: "Don't worry about staying in the lines, no one's going to spank you- unless you want them to!"

I was given these books in exchange for an honest review. You can find them on Amazon here:
