Translated, the German title means 'Flower & Garden Magic'- an apt name for the stunning nature-inspired designs in this lovely book of postcards. Normally sized at 16 x 11, the book lays flat for ease of colouring with a glue bind that enables you to release each of the 20 postcards with little effort. The illustrations include flora and fauna, insects, fruits and wild animals, in a plethora of line thicknesses, inverted monochrome backgrounds and variety of large and minute spaces.
The blue and silver foiling on the cover gives a look of quality, perfect for gifting to a friend or loved one for Christmas, though some of the spaces are *very* small so please keep that in mind. I don't particularly like the black backgrounds as I don't think it gives much scope for marking your own stamp on the image, but each to their own. This book of postcards is retailing at just £4.26, so an ideal stocking filler for those on a budget!
Here's my finished postcard, completed with glitter gel pens for that festive feel :)
