The delicate illustrations are inspired by Trolle's own garden, and such is her love for the subject matter Blomster Mandala was sketched and complete in just a month! Don't let the speed of creation fool you into thinking the art is rushed and of a lesser quality- each one is stunning and really captures the feeling of being right in the midst of the horticultural world, discovering beautiful new flowers and plants as you turn each page. Not only this, but some graceful woodland creatures are also included among the foliage.
Blomster Mandala is certainly a book I'd recommend for people who predominantly love colouring flowers and plants, but I think the sheer beauty of the illustrations will appeal to most colourists.
As far as I know, the book hasn't been picked up by a UK publisher as yet, so you will have to buy this book from Penstore.com and have it shipped to your country from Sweden.
Here is a quick page I coloured with my neon Triplus felt pens.
