Artist Alexander George Ward created this colouring book based on the things he discovered on his real-life journey through the Amazon. The cultures and traditions of ancient tribes which merge with nature and spirituality are explored, giving us an insight into this amazing part of the world that is so connected to life and humanity in its many forms.
In this book you will find healing Shamen, beautiful landscapes, tribal villages, traditional patterns, ritual ceremonies and incredibly calming & grounding imagery. Take a look through my video flipthrough below.
The book has 119 pages with 46 illustrations for you to colour. Each design is one-sided with a small amount of explanatory text on the reverse, so there's no need to worry about the back- just make sure you pop some paper underneath in case it bleeds through (in fact, there's a page especially for this purpose at the rear of the book). The paper is an average thickness with a smooth surface and bright white colour, and the illustrations range in complexity from intricate to large, simple spaces.
Jungle Visions is very engaging and really makes you think about the basic things in life we take for granted- just being alive on this glorious planet amongst the awe-inspirting beauty of nature. Here is my finished picture, coloured with Sharpie pens.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. You can find it on Amazon here:
