I love this book! It has 26 pages, each bearing a beautifully illustrated letter of the alphabet for you to colour. It's the second colouring book by artist Debi Payne, who's works have been displayed in Las Vegas art galleries. Typography is one of my favourite things to colour, and these uppercase letters are so well done- full of doodled flowers, leaves and paisley swirls. Have a look at some random letters I've scanned in the slideshow below.
Thankfully the designs are all one sided, so you can use whatever colouring medium you want. I was pleased about this as I wanted to practice my Spectrum Noir blending on the leaves! The paper is quite thin so you'll want to put a piece of card or a couple of sheets of paper behind to prevent bleed. Each initial takes up the entirety of the page, centrally aligned so nothing goes off the edge. They have the benefit of looking very intricate but not actually having too many small spaces, so each letter doesn't take too long to colour. They would be fantastic cut out and framed, either for your craft station or even a children's bedroom. The book is just over £7 on Amazon, so not too expensive for the amount of detail in all 26 letters. Here's mine! Had to be a 'C' of course :)
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. You can find it on Amazon here:
