Buy Clear Gesso here | Buy Foam Brushes here
NOTE: Gesso does leave a light texture on your page and I have been told that it COULD affect the nibs of your markers over time so please be mindful of this.

Hi!

How is the reverse page affected, if at all. Can you still use pencils etc or does the paper absorb the sealent a little?

How on earth did you discover this??!?

Oh!! And does it work with felt pens etc? My Harry potter colouring book is so thin I can't use anything but pencils on it!

Have learned so much from your tutorials. Really do appreciate the information. Have not used the alcohol markers yet for fear of the bleed. I'm really looking forward to giving them a try after this video.

Finnabair's Art Basics Clear Gesso is the "smoothest" gesso I have tried so far. Not tried it with markers though, only watercolours and acrylics. Since very few colouring books can take wet media it has been great to find away around it.

Tried it tonight. I had a little bit of bleed through . How many layers would you recommend ? Rachael

Thank you for the tip. I am going to Amazon right now to pick up some. I am starting to use markers but am frustrated because of the bleeding.

So delighted to see this ... I love colouring but have avoided colouring in books ( I use Digi's as I can print on appropriate paper ) because I can't colour with my markers ... this has opened a whole new world xx
