NOTE: Gesso does leave a light texture on your page and I have been told that it COULD affect the nibs of your markers over time so please be mindful of this.

Oh!! And does it work with felt pens etc? My Harry potter colouring book is so thin I can't use anything but pencils on it!

Have learned so much from your tutorials. Really do appreciate the information. Have not used the alcohol markers yet for fear of the bleed. I'm really looking forward to giving them a try after this video.

Finnabair's Art Basics Clear Gesso is the "smoothest" gesso I have tried so far. Not tried it with markers though, only watercolours and acrylics. Since very few colouring books can take wet media it has been great to find away around it.

Thank you for the tip. I am going to Amazon right now to pick up some. I am starting to use markers but am frustrated because of the bleeding.
