Pantone® forecasts the fashion trends for each season based on the New York and London Fashion Weeks.   The 12 Spring 2018 colours for NY Fashion Week are as follows:

I often see colour palettes based on the  Pantone® colours, but I could  find nothing online to indicate which colours these convert to in pencil and marker sets. So, as usual, I decided to create my own chart and share it with you all!

Use this chart to convert the 12 Spring 2018 Pantone
® colours to the closest matches of  Prismacolor Premier, Faber Castell Polychromos, Spectrum Noir Markers and Dual Brush Tombow Markers.  Using this palette in your colouring adds something special to the piece as it's "on trend", and a different twist on standard colour palettes pulled from photographs. It could even be one coloured page, four times a year, to keep  in a folder and look back on the colour trends. You could create a collage around your coloured page using fabrics and cut-outs of the same colours to make interesting wall art that can be changed with each season.

It took hours to do as I had to first of all identify the colour matches by testing and swatching four different media, then create the chart on the PC, then print it and colour it in, then  scan it BACK onto the PC, then smooth the colours so it looks neat and tidy, then upload here! I really hope it can be a useful resource for you all  and if you'd like me to do this for future Pantone palettes I'd be happy to- just let me know in the comments :)

Great idea, a serious effort and it will be a really useful resource.I do have a suggestion – would you please give it a more useful file name? Perhaps something that indicates the Spring 18 Panatone conversion PanSpr18.pdf
