Mince Pies are magically appearing on shop shelves. Talk of people who already have their tree up circulates. The first "I have no idea what I'm buying this year" thought begins to actually alarm us as the latest must-have toy and big chocolate tub promotions are advertised everywhere. Yep, the first Autumn leaves have fallen so it's officially the Great British run up to Christmas, and time for all the festive colouring books to surface on Amazon!
Nosy Crow, a UK based publishing house, sent me the first two in the 'Cards & Envelopes' series earlier this year and they proved a big hit with my followers. You can read about those books here. A few days ago I received a trio of Christmassy books from them, and was so impressed by the quality and thought put into them that I instantly got stuck in. There's a book of Christmas themed cards & envelopes which is the same format as the previous books and features lots of whimsical Yuletide imagery; a book of do-it-yourself Gift Boxes which is again in a similar format which you remove and build yourself; and a book of beautifully illustrated birds which you colour, push out and assemble into hanging decorations. So, if you enjoy crafting handmade gifts and want to get started early, check out my video reviews of the books and follow the links below to order. (The gift box book is on pre-order until its release in October).

Very unique books. Have not seen anything like these, across the pond, in the USA
